Hip bursitis
Hi had a fall in sept 22. On naproxen and Co codamol( high doses) they’re not helping pain at all. Been given exercises by physio. I’m a really big lady and this is having a severe effect on my mental health. Just wanted some advice re pain relief

You have been prescribed pain relief for bursitis in your hip but it is not helping you and your mental health has also been affected by your condition. You are are asking for advice from our members who are always willing to give help and support to those affected by living with arthritis. We are glad you found us and hope that you will feel part of the community and that it helps you feel less alone.

We are all being encouraged to do some form of exercise to keep our joints and muscles more flexible and mobile. So give yourself a few minutes once or twice a day to try the exercises the physio gave you or try the online videos mentioned above . It often helps to have a person online to follow , a lot of our members find them really helpful and fun.
