Introduction and cost of living thoughts
Hi Guys,
Lovely to be joining you all here. My name is Rebecca. Ive had osteoarthritis since I was very young, relating to multiple hereditary exostoses and I’ve had two osteotomies in the last couple of years. It was a long recovery time and I’m finally back at school. I am a journalist training with the press association and I come to this new forum of (soon to be friends) to ask a favour... I am writing an article (for a practical exam on Wednesday the 18th) on the impact of cost of living on people arthritis. I am using the recent versus arthritis survey as a reference point. Yesterday I interviewed the lovely Paul and Liz from the VA press team in London. I would be grateful for some first hand accounts of how you’ve been experiencing the cost of living crisis in regards to your arthritis. The research says it’s been quite a worry, people are worried about heating their homes, eating properly, affording medication. [xxx]
Looking forward to contributing here :)
Rebecca
