Think it depend's on the severity of DQ.

I had trapeziectomy in my left hand despite my DQ but mine isn't that bad. Maybe an idea to ask your surgeon why he can't do it and how to fix DQ?

I’ve suffered osteoarthritis for past 15 years, more recently diagnosed De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis in my right hand which is painful as I’m right handed. I use a walking stick, also an artist using my right hand l is there anything positive to look forward to?
