Newly diagnosed with Fibromyalgia & Psoriatic Arthritis

Hi, I am just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and part psoriatic arthritis. I am waiting to start treatment with Methotrexate along side my current painkiller Co-Codamol 50/500mg. I just wondered how long does it take for the Methotrexate to start working. I have been in pain for years with having many operations on various joints and bones of which I did need anyway, but I only had the diagnosis confirmed a week ago and wondered how long will it take for me to feel any better. In the past I have tried the usual tablets Amitriptyline, duloxetine and gabapentin and pregabalin and these did nothing for me other than making me put on weight and make me feel sick. I am praying the Methotrexate works as I also have Spinal issues from previous back surgery and may need back surgery again shortly. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not take this myself but from other posts I have read the initial side effects may take a bit of getting used, but I am sure that others will connect with you to share their support and experiences as well.
