Hi I had an accident last summer and had to have a knee xray. Luckily my knee was OK but as a result of the xray I was diagnosed with early ostio arthritis. I hadn't noticed anything until now. 7months later. I wake during the night with My hands and arms in pain and then in the mornings im now aware i have quite stiff fingers and joints on my upper body. I don't know whether to visit the gp for this or to wait. I'm not sure whether to just leave it for now. Any advice would be great. Kay

    Hello and welcome☺

Personally, I wouldn't leave it. If you have so many achey joints it could just be an inflammatory form of arthritis, not osteo and they need disease modifying meds the sooner the better.

Don't worry. It probably isn't, or at least wasn't in your knee as the changes are different with OA and RA but why take a chànce?

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
