Non specific symptoms
Hi
I am 43 years old female and for past few months have pain in multiple joints. There used to be pain in finger and toes for past 3 years but it used to disappear. Few times there was sweling in finger too but used to go away itself. Rheumatoid factor is negative and plasma C is also normal but there is also no sign of osteo arthritis. Joints are not inflamed except had trigger finger and there is just pain in . No morning stiffness. However when I do chores hands hurt. Sometimes I wake up and feel ok. Sometimes suddenly I wake up and joint starts hurting like ankle which continue for few days and go away. It makes walk difficult. Sometimes wrist starts hurting suddenly while doing a chore n then disappears. Rheumatologist is confused as they are all non specific symptoms. Hand xray showed degenerative changes. Don't know what is going on! Anyone out there who had gone through more or less like this?

Hi @Been welcome to our online community where you will meet members to share tips and advice.
I understand that you have Rheumatoid pain in multiple joints. You had painful finger and toes some years ago, sometimes swelling of the finger. Sometimes your hands and wrist hurt when you do chores. Sometimes you have ankle pain in the morning. Walking is also difficult for you. The Rheumatologist is confused about these nonspecific symptoms. You would like to know if anyone has a similar situation.
Whilst you wait to connect with our members, I have attached a couple of links from our website for you to have a look at, one about walking and the other managing pain:
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Best wishes.
