Feel alone
I have had arthritis in my knees for 25 years and now have it in just about every joint. I have been refused a referral for rheumatology because it's 'just arthritis'. I also suffer from depression and anxiety. Because I won't take every pill the doctor throws at me they say I can't be in pain. I would like to know if there are other arthritis sufferers who manage their pain without lots of tablets and understand what I am going through.

Hello @Del67 and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and you are among new friends now. I hope that you will experience this as well.
I understand that you have arthritis affecting a lot of your joints. Sometimes you need to keep going back to your GP to get referrals - are there other GPs you could see? In the meantime I've put a couple of links in below from our website which may be useful.
and
We also have a Helpline who can help with any specific questions
Please let us know how you get on
Best wishes
