Hello
Hi,I'm 52 and I have osteoarthritis in both hips ( diagnosed 4 years ago) and more recently disgnosed with osteoarthritis in one of my thumbs ( all joints in thumb affected) When my hips are really painful I find my feet really hurt when standing/ walking...to the point where I can't walk properly. My gp has told me to just take Zapain for the pain..does any- one else get pain in their feet with hip osteoarthritis?

Hi @di53,
Thank you for joining the forum and welcome :)
Sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing in your hips and feet, that can be really difficult. You can ask your GP to refer you to a podiatrist and pain clinic for further support with this. And you might find it helpful to use our 'Living with arthritis' thread to talk to others and their experiences. I've also linked some pages from our website that you may find helpful.
Let us know how you get on
Best wishes,
Sharmin - Mod 😊
