Hi

My name is Carole I am 63 years old and recently been diagnosed with osteo arthritis in my thumbs, I told the doctor that's what I had and she neither disagreed or confirmed it was and just told me to put ibuprofen gel on the affected area as necessary. I wanted to join this community for tips and advice on lifestyle, diet and any other information that would be helpful, as my doctor didn't seem in the slightest bit interested, very disappointing.

Hi @Katty , have you seen these exercises - I haven't tried these particular ones, but they've got others for other joint pains that I've tried and they're really good - very gentle but they do help with pain.
