Osteoarthritis of the neck between the c6&c7 virtabray
Hello everyone i'm new to the community please can somebody give me any advice on osteoarthritis of the neck as all my doctor is doing is just nothing i have been to see thep physio and he politely said to me i don't no why you have been sent to see me as there is nothing i can do for you as the c6&c7 vertebrae are rubbing together i'm in constant pain 24/7 ,365 can't sleep i'm lucky if i get 3 hours a night constantly feel down with it,any advice you can give would be much appreciated thanks guys

Hi @roysharp1972 , it must be so hard when you can't sleep because of the pain. I used to have problems with my neck and found that a tens machine (just a cheap one from Boots) really helped. At night I found that a memory foam pillow gives me just the right amount of support without being too hard.

Like @Rina , I use a shaped memory foam pillow and it makes so much difference I now go nowhere without one. I also have a neck support which does help when things are really bad but I've always used it only for short periods as they encourage lax muscles which make things worse long term.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
