Newly diagnosed
Hello everyone, newly diagnosed after 4 long painful years. RO in both ankles - possibly OA in feet hands and wrists (still investigating)
Pain was put down to menopause and ankle instability ๐ had quite the fight to get to see someone who would take the pain seriously.
Starting Methotrexate soon - any advice?

Hello @Toffeepop welcome to the online Community.
I see from your post that you have a recent diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis (I'm sure the RO was a typo for RA?) after a bit of a battle getting diagnosed and having your pain taken seriously.
You are starting Methotrexate (MTX) soon and are hoping for advice from our members. Well plenty on here take the medication so hopefully someone will be along soon to share their tips. In the meantime i am going to give you a couple of links to read which might be of interest:
and this story by someone else who has Rheumatoid Arthritis;

I like your username @Toffeepop
Just popping by to welcome you to the forum from me.
It can be really hard to get diagnosed correctly I know it's so unfair, frustrating and actually downright demoralising. Well done for getting there.
Now you're here come along in and join us just join any conversation you will get a good response I'm sure.
Take care
