I expect that I am far from the first to discover this: long handled shoe horns are just as good at shoe removal. No more standing on the heel of a shoe.

That is brilliant! I always use one to put shoes on but it never occured to me to take them off with it.

Also, for soft slippers and shoes, sock slings work too.

You can use the 'backscratcher ' bit to throw shirts and sweatshirts over your head. Many are available including much cheaper ones but I've discovered the hard way that the more you pay for these the longer they last.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
