Not been diagnosed yet
Hi im Emma, 42.For over 3 months now I have been in pain daily. The pain is in my hands, wrists, knees, inside leg, shoulders , neck , ankles ,feet, It is in different parts of my body at different times. One minute I’m ok then the part affected will start hurting till I cannot walk without limping or pick up things without pain. I have to stay totally still to stop any pain. I’ve had blood and X-ray it’s shows inflammation in my blood haven’t been diagnosed with anything. I have been referred to a rheumatologist but they are saying up to a 33 week wait. The doctor had out me on gabapentin but it doesn’t seem to help. This is really getting me down now . Just want it diagnosed so I can get help with pain. It’s in my jaw now also😩

Hello @Emmas2008 welcome to the online community
You have been in daily pain for three months and the tests show inflammatory markers in your blood. However you have been advised that it maybe up to 33 weeks before you see a rheumatologist and clearly want a diagnosis as soon as possible so that you can get help with the pain.
We are glad you found us because although not medically trained we offer a friendly and supportive network of people who are here to help you deal with your condition. The Versus Arthritis fact sheets will provide you with a lot of information and our members have a wide range of experience of living with arthritis and are always willing to share their tips with others.
I attach some links which I hope you will find helpful
