Ever thought about being a Volunteer Moderator? We need more

Our Community keeps going partly because of our wonderful team of Volunteer Moderators who make sure it is a safe place for you to seek help or guidance - all our Volunteer Moderators are DBS checked and undertake Safeguarding training - or just chat to others to share experiences.

We need Volunteer Moderators for Saturdays and Sundays - could it be you? Our volunteers normally commit to a 4 hour slot, either am or pm, each week, though you are not tied to your computer for all of those 4 hours. Once any backlog is cleared we just ask that you log on periodically to check if anything new has occurred. Of course we cover for each other for holidays/appointments etc.

Sounds interesting… I maybe interested if the more experienced members feel I’d be worthy of the role @stickywicket @frogmorton … They have successfully supported loads of people and by comparison I am a newbie.

I'm sure you'd be 'worthy', @Arthuritis . You're very helpful and experience isn't everything. I've considered it myself in the past but I don't think my techie skills would be up to it. And this 'old dog' is now slow to learn new tricks. Go for it 😀

Without a doubt @Arthuritis I think you would make an excellent moderator. I always think it's good if our mods are 'one of us' too.
