Hello,,,,,
Hi All,,,
I am a forum newbie, with OA in my hands. I can just about put up with the pain,, but losing grip in my hands is worse. I have also been prescribed Capsaicin cream for a swollen knuckle/finger,, but no chemist in my area (Yeovil) can get it. I moan to my husband about my aches all the time, so thought it about time I share my moans and groans with others.

Hi @Caz63
This is a great place to have a moan, everyone understand that we have to get it out and are very supportive.
Have you looked at splints to help your hands/ wrists? There are also all sorts of gadgets especially for the kitchen to help relieve strain on hands and fingers.
People have mentioned they use heat pads and cool packs and I was reading somewhere about wax treatment, but I don't know much about it . I expect someone on here does!
