Crossroads between meds
Hi there, I have been reading these posts for a while but feel ready to join the chat and could do with some advice. Been diagnosed with RA and OA. They started me on methotrexate but after a few weeks side effects were so bad with breathing etc had to come off it. Rheumatology have gave me steroids which have been a reducing dose for the last three weeks but they are not doing anything so as of today I have to stop taking steroids until I see Rheumatology again on the 7th June as they think it's not inflammatory if the steroids are not working. Still got a lot of pain in feet and hands. Not sure what's going to happen next

Hello @Angel1503 and welcome to the Community. Good to have you here and hope that you will stay and chat. We are a friendly and supportive group and hopefully you will experience that as well.
I understand that you have been taken of the methotrexate and steroids until your next appointment. I hope that they sort you out some medication that works soon. In the meantime I've put a link in below from our website which might be of some use.
