RA Rash with Sulphazalazine

My husband recently diagnosed with RA taking 6 Sulphazalazine currently getting really itchy rashes on tops of hands and shins - any suggestion on creams ? Thanks

Itchy rash is a common side effect unfortunately here is some info you might find useful Sulfasalazine | Side-effects, uses, time to work (versusarthritis.org). It is always best to mention side effects to the rheumatology team.

Rashes are funny things with meds. Sometimes innocuous, sometimes not. I'd get it checked out.

I agree with @stickywicket (it has been known😉!)

Personally I ask my pharmacist about any rashes.
