My first post, hello everyone
I have had osteoarthritis for quite a few years but for the last two it has become worse and I have had to stop driving. The hospital prescribed 90mg Etoricoxib which made me so poorly I thought I was having a heart attack, went to GP who apparently can't do anything because I am vegan so choose not to take capsules containing gelatine. I wondered if anyone has found anything to help.

Hi @LynnS
Welcome and thank you for joining and sharing on our community.
I'm so sorry to hear what you've been experiencing, it sounds quite tough. There are some alternative capsules that you may be able to get through your pharmacy or health stores which can be vegan friendly as the coating is gelatine free. You may find a pain clinic helpful to explore complementary and alternative options and routes for you to help manage your arthritis and pain. You can ask your GP to refer you. You can read more in the links below.
Best wishes,
