New here, with arthritis in my hands
Hello all,
I was diagnosed with arthritis in my hands a few years ago, but it’s only starting to bother me in the last few months. I bought a Homedic paraffin wax bath ages ago. It has always heated the wax too hot, but it’s got much worse recently, and is now unusable. I’m wondering if anyone has found one that’s worth paying a bit more for to get better quality?
Also, I’ve noticed in a couple of discussions on this site that people use a paint brush to apply the wax. Is that the case for hands as well? I’ve been dipping mine directly into the wax because that’s what the physiotherapist at the hospital showed me.

Hello @Roservic welcome to the online community
You have arthritis in your hands and have used a wax therapy treatment which the physiotherapist showed you how to use. There are numbers of members who use this treatment and I am sure will be able to share their experiences with you. I attach some links for your interest.

Do let us know if you decide on a different wax bath, although I must warn you that Versus Arthritis does not allow advertisements for products on the site.
Best wishes
Poppyjane
