Good morning @Boxy welcome to the Versus Arthritis Online Community.
I see from your post that you have recently been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis (OA) in your hip. In spite of medication you are taking you are struggling to move easily and feeling a bit fed up.
Feeling a bit low when newly diagnosed is very 'normal' so much so that these pages were put together specifically for people in your position:
I don't know how much you know about Osteoarthritis so am attaching this too in case it helps:
I'll leave you now to meet our members. Now that you've said hello do take a look around the rest of the forum and join in wherever you like. Living with Arthritis tends to be the most popular category after 'Say Hello'.
Best wishes
Ellen.

I am sorry @Boxy
It's awful living with pain and restricted mobility.
Have you tried a microwavable wheatbag at all? I swear by mine. What about exercises too there are some stretches on the VA site
Now you might not manage all of it but even some might help a bit.
Oh and I also have a tens machine I use sometimes.
Take care
Toni x
