In Pain
Hi, I’ve lived with osteoarthritis in both knees for a few years but one knee has progressed so much that it is severely impacting on my quality of life. The pain and stiffness is affecting my mobility. Just looking for some support and ideas on how to manage the pain until I’m operated on for a full knee replacement.

Hi @Rannoch54
Welcome to the community, I hope you get the support and help you need here.
I've heard that Capsaicin works for alot of people with OA of the knee, read more about there:- Capsaicin | Uses, side-effects | Versus Arthritis. You would need to speak to you doctor about getting a prescription as it's not available over the counter.
I've also added a few more links which I hope might help with some alternative treatments and maybe some gentle exercise to keep the movement and reduce the stiffness.

Best wishes
