Hello, I’m new to the group. I have recently been diagnosed with facet joint arthritis in my lower spine. I get a lot of pain in my groin, but this has not been addressed. I am curtly in a lot of paint with my shoulder and wonder if this could be facet joint arthritis further up. I feel like I will sound ridiculous if I go back to the doctors with this pain!!

    Hello @Treecat

I am glad you have found our online forum. We are a friendly and supportive group of people with arthritis, and I hope you will share this experience.

I understand that you have recently been diagnosed with facet joint arthritis in your lower spine and now have pain in your shoulder which you think may be the same. It is important to speak to a health professional about any new pain, as it could be unrelated to your diagnosed condition.

I am posting a link below to information on our website which may help you, and you can explore further by searching in the box at the top left of your screen.

Do keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes

    Caryl
