RA in feet

Hi does anyone have RA in feet? I had a metal plate and screws put in my right foot 4 years ago. About 2 months ago a screw came through my toe and had to be removed in A&E. after a scan they decided the plate had also moved. 6 weeks ago I had an operation to remove the rest of the metalwork and replace it with a longer plate. They also packed it out with a bone graft taken from my shin.

I had a cast to my shin for 2 weeks then a foot cast for 4 weeks then next week I’m hopefully having the cast off and a boot on for 6 weeks. I can’t wait bear for 12 weeks from operation. I’ve really struggled with the recovery this time especially the afteraffects of the bone graft. Has anyone else had this done and can tell me about recovery? Thank you.
