New pains
Hello my name is Juliet and I am a 27 year old paediatric nurse with left hip arthritis due to acetabular protrusio. For the past month or so I have been experiencing pain in my fingers especially when trying to move them and this has now radiated up my arms. Would I be right to assume this could be some form of arthritis?
:) Thanks

Hello @Julietrl welcome to the online community.
I understand from your post that you have already got Arthritis in your hip and are now experiencing pain in your fingers.
We are not medically trained here unfortunately, but you have been experiencing this pain for a months so maybe you could see your GP for investigations.
I am attaching our information about hand/wrist pain (includes fingers) it's worth reading particularly the section entitled 'When to see your Dr':
and I am also attaching these exercises which you might find helpful too:
Please do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes
Ellen.

Hi @Julietrl
Nice to meet you and say welcome to the forum from me too.
Could be arthritis but maybe not.
If I was you I'd find out the sooner you know the sooner you can do something about the pain you're in.
I hope you'll let us know how you get on

You may have something like Carpal tunnel, your Gp is your first place to visit. Goodluck.
