It's not my hips after all
Well after months of being in excrutiating pain I've been given a diagnosis of gluteal tendinopathy. Yes I still have mild arthritis in my hips but this pain has a name and hopefully my wonderful physio can get to grips with it next time I see her in September.
Maybe the painful MRIs I had last week were worth it? Not sure this morning as I write this with my usual levels of pain this morning.
I think the lesson of the day is that our pain is not always as it seems.
I actually have a face to face appointment with my GP later for meds review and look forward to seeing what pain management plan he can come up with as I can't take anti inflammatories which is what I should be having.

Very interesting @Trish9556
I wonder whether you have seen this information from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital?
I will be following your progress with interest.
Best wishes
Ellen.

Thanks @Ellen
I read that last night as I was doing my research. I'm glad my pain is easily fixable without major surgery. Just have to work out how to stop my husband telling me to stop doing something lol.
I hate being inactive and the last few months if being to use my crutches all the time has not been a happy time. I'm glad I can now start ditching the awful things!
Love n hugs
