Hi all,

I am not sure that I have earned the right to be here, but I have been battling with ongoing health issues since February, and still don't have a definitive opinion regarding what is wrong.

Its been almost impossible to get to see a doctor, and now that I eventually have time is dragging slowly.

I did my own research and came to the view I must be suffering from either RA or Fibromyalgia. In the meantime I am still waiting ( for 5 weeks now ) for blood tests to confirm.

I have been feeling really awful, and cant help worrying it might be something else.

stiff fingers in the morning that ease a little during the day, not able to grip, pain in my fingers joints, pain in my elbows and knees when I bend them, the muscles hurt when I lift, pain in shoulders and across my chest when I stretch, weakness in my legs that feel wobbly - like jelly legs bellow my knees, pain in my toes, dry sore eyes, blisters on the back of my hands, more headaches than I have ever had in the past, muscle cramps, very disturbed sleep, waking up in hot sweats at 3 am, and worst of all the feeling of being absolutely and totally exhausted almost all of the time, so much so I cant even complete a conversation.

I don't know if anyone here recognises mush of this, but I do hope that I can get something done soon as this is no way to live

Anyway thanks for reading this :)

Hello @bridekirk and welcome to the Community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well. The Community is a safe place where we can swap info and support or just chat to each other.

I understand that you are awaiting a final diagnosis as to your condition. Good that at least you have been able to start the medical journey. You say you have done some research which is good as at least you are prepared when you have the discussion with your GP/Consultant about the results. Our website has a lot of useful info and I've put some links below which might be of help.

    and

Please keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I am sure that others will share their support and experiences with you.

    With best wishes
