Duvet

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new duvet. Mine is a synthetic one and am aware that when the weather turns that I’ll be needing it (rather than the lightweight throw I’m using as it’s warm).

My synthetic duvet is incredibly heavy and the weight seems to affect me and hurts my feet and joints, so am looking at changing.

the options are proving a minefield! I am open to any filling but needs to be about 13.5 as I have a cold bedroom in the winter and if anyone can share any successful purchases with duvets I’d be grateful.

Thank you

Hi @Nette02 we have a synthetic duvet but don't find it too heavy, I guess different ones weigh different. Do onlie shops do actual weight as well as TOG? might be worth a search

on the advice of a friend I invested in coverless duvets. It’s changed my life. I bought mine from The Fine Bedding Company. They’re called Night Owl. They go in the washing machine, and either dry outside or in the tumble dryer. I have a king sized one and you need a 10k washing machine for that size. Before my hands would ache so much after changing the duvets, now it’s simple and pain free.

Thank you, I’ll take a look at the night owl one and planning to take another trip to a larger stockist so I can feed the weigh etc if synthetic options
