Madam says I’m hot!

My most recent visit to the rheummy was illuminating. I thought it was about time I spoke up a bit more and when he asked about my pain levels I said ‘10 all over!’ He called me over to his ultrasound scanner and said my joints are all inflamed and it looks like ‘pseudo gout’ but isn’t. He concluded he doesn’t have a clue about my zero negative RA but the treatment would still be the same.

For years madam has been complaining about me being hot in bed (she should be so lucky!) but I have never connected the higher temperature and the inflammation caused by RA. Anyrate I am now on Hydroxcloroquine, Prednisolone and Sulfersalazine which is helping some and I’m cooler in bed.

oh for a peaceful nights sleep.

pits a grin, honest!

Hot stuff are you @Airwave! 🤩

Glad to hear your meds are doing the job that's great news long may it last.

Your Rheumatologist seems none teh wiser but is quite right sero neg RA or not - the treatment would be the same.

    Take care

So, you're hot in bed, Airwave? Or,are you just boasting😆

Serioudly, inflamed joints do give off heat so, if you've a lot of them, it stands to reason. Maybe when the meds start to work you'll cool off. I hope so.
