Hello
I've only just discovered you! To have other people to talk to and ask advice from is going to be amazing.
I'm having one of my knees replaced in a couple of weeks, the other decided to have a flare up last week meaning i couldnt put any weight on it. I'm really scared of this happening post surgery.
Any top tips?

Hi,
I had both knees replaced within 6 months of each other. The surgeon let me choose which to go with first as both were completely gone. I guess it's tough on the remaining one but no more so than having a rubbishy knee on the other leg. Just do your pre and post op exercises on both legs and you'll be fine. Here they are https://www.versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/exercising-with-arthritis/exercises-for-healthy-joints/exercises-for-the-knees/ Remember, you'll have walking aids for some time so the older knee won't be doing all the work. Just do your 'homework' , relax and enjoy !
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
