Transition from methotrexate tablets to injections

Hi, I was diagnosed this year with RA and was prescribed methotrexate tablets and I’ve had a few problems with them, mainly mouth ulcers. My consultant suggested I try injections to avoid these side effects. I would like to know how people have coped with injecting themselves. I’m worried that I will not do it correctly and also I have RA in my hands how easy will it be for me to inject myself. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.
