Hi all,

Hope you're all having a great day, enjoying the cooler weather 😊

I am 51 with Osteo in my fingers, wrists, most of my spine and both knees. I live with the winter hand pains, tolerate the bad back for about 30+ years but its the knees that are breaking me. I tore my miniscus in Left knee almost 2 years ago to add to the wear and tear pain but my right knee I am struggling with. I was walking with a crutch from about April to take the weight and pressure off that knee. My gp said no asnits making my muscles lazy. A week later I kind of run for a bus, well in my head I was kinda running but have no idea what it looked like to the outside world..πŸ˜‚ Something twinged and A&E said I pulled ligaments in right knee. Every since beginning of July this knee has killed me. I have been walking without the stick for the past month but today I have re started as pain is going down to my toes and top of my foot.. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€

Ooh that was a long intro..oops πŸ˜‚

Anyways, I wanted to chat with fellow sufferers who knows what this all feels like and know how feels to feel broken πŸ˜₯

Have a great day everyone

    Hi @KellyH

Lovely to meet you and welcome you to the online community.

Sounds as though you are having a tough time at the moment with that knee. I hope you have had at least some physiotherapy support for it.

I don't know whether you've seen this yet?

They are very gentle exercises, but you may wish to just check with your medical team (physio GP) before starting them. Many people here do them and feel they help a lot.

In spite of your pain you do sound to be a very upbeat sort of person. Now that you've said hello please do take a look around the forum and join in anywhere you wish. Living with Arthritis tends to be a very popular category.

    My best wishes

    Ellen.
