Hi, I am 65 and have recently been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. I am waiting for an appointment to have the base of my thumbs injected, hopefully this will give some pain relief. Does anyone have experience of this treatment?

Hi @Hagafan Welcome to the online community.
I see you have Osteoarthritis (OA) in the base of your thumbs and are soon going to have them injected to hopefully give you some relief from the pain.
While you wait for someone to come along to chat I am going to attach a couple of links:
That one includes information about thumbs.
and this one:
is a search I did for you for threads on the subject of thumb injections.
Wishing you the best of luck
Ellen.
