Menopause - osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia
just wanted to say Hi 👋. I’m 51 and have had osteoarthritis in both my hands for about 10 years now. Always in pain thumb joints are the worst at the minute and I may need one joint replaced. I’m October last year I was told I likely had fibromyalgia due to have multiple joint pains and aches and constant exhaustion. I’m 4 months post hysterectomy with hormones all over the place and I’m really struggling to know what is normal for me now. I’m glad to have found this group and hope I can be of some support to others 😊

Hello @thelendies
Welcome to the online forum! We are a friendly group who will always try and help with support and information. I hope you have some comments on your post soon!
I understand that you have osteoarthritis in your hands, particularly your thumbs, and that you had a hysterectomy four months ago, which if course has led to your hormones being all over the place. It's no surprise that you are struggling.
I am posting some information below which I hope will be a starting point for you: our website is a great source of information on everything to do with arthritis.
Do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on.
Best wishes
Caryl
