Diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis 1 year ago, aged 30
Hello,
I was diagnosed with PsA just over a year ago, having had symptoms for almost 2 years now. I'm struggling to come to terms with living with a chronic condition that rarely seems to get any better. it's having a real effect on my mental health and my life as a whole. Sometimes I feel like I have to limit myself so much, that I'm always making trade-offs and finding it so hard to do.
Would love to meet some people experiencing similar challenges to see how we can help and support each other.
Am in the Bristol-based area so especially interested to know anyone local-ish!

Hi @Hannahs28
We are so sorry to hear that you are struggling to come to terms with your condition, we do hear this regularly so please do not think that you are on your own with this we are here to help and support you through this journey.
It is understandable that this is affecting your mental health also, possibly speaking to your doctor to see if anything can be put into place short term to help you with this in the future. But speaking to other who are experiencing the same thing is a great idea and would probably help you a lot. We do support groups in certain areas that are run by volunteers, I have added the link with the hope there is one in your area, just insert your postcode.
