Hello. Although I have had arthritis of the left knee for 10+ years, I now appear to be having more widespread symptoms in my lower back, hands, feet and perhaps shoulder. A dexa scan this year has revealed I have osteopenia too and and an MRI scan shows compression of the root nerve, L5 causing sciatica type pain and appears to be affecting my continence of the bladder . I hope to have an appointment with rheumatology next year, by which time I will have waited around 15 -18 months. GPs and physio are helpful but i need more help.
