Giant Cell Arteritis
Hello!
I'm newly diagnosed with GCA and would love to talk to others about their experience in managing this condition.
I was discharged from hospital last Friday and am now at home and feeling shattered. Is this normal?

Hi @KarenJb
Welcome to the versus arthritis forum.
You are newly diagnosed and would like to talk with others who have experienced GCA.
To be honest I’m not sure whether Arteritis is an arthritic condition although it does, I believe, cause inflammation as is the case with rheumatoid arthritis.
Whilst you await some feedback, I hope this link to our website contains some useful information for you. This includes references to fatigue and severe tiredness.
I hope you receive some useful feedback.
Best Wishes

Hi,
We don't get many on here with GCA and they don't tend to hang about (probably because we don't have many😆) but here are some former threadshttps://community.versusarthritis.org/search?domain=all_content&query=giant%20cell%20arteritis&scope=site&source=community.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
