Hi Everyone I’m new on this community my first post I’ve been suffering for years not feeling well but wasn’t diagnosed until recently

I’ve been on Hydroxichlorequine for 5 years and recently ben Advised to have methotrexate I took 2 weeks oral tablets but the side effects were awful nausea headaches so stopped using tablets

i was then advised to try injections which had same side effects so stopped those

Im currently waiting to see consultant which is not until November but am in a lot of pain hands I’m absolutely exhausted could anyone help me let me know if they have been through the same any advice would be helpful

    Welcome to the online community,great you have joined us

    Tou write that you have just been diagnosed with Rhumatoid Arthritis and are in a lot of pain,you are on medication and when you tried methotrexate tablets it caused problems so you came off them,you then tried the injections but found that form of Methotrexate had same side effects so stopped using it.

    you are currently waiting to see the Consultant in November to have a review and in a lot of pain with your hands and would like advice that would be helpful to alleviate the pain
