Hydroxychloroquine And Leflunomide
Hi, I’ve been taking leflunomide for a couple of years for PsA. Experiencing additional swelling and pain. New consultant has now said I have ‘undifferentiated’ arthritis, and prescribed Hydroxychloroquine in addition. Is anyone else taking both? Haven’t started yet, having eyes checked first. Have read all the info in with the tablets and am quite worried. Thanks

Hello @PsAMaria
I was prescribed Hydroxychlorquine in February then in August the consultant doubled my doesage and took me off ibuprofen and steroids. Fingers crossed I have noticed a big difference with my RA and would recommend it but obviously everyone is different. 🙌
I had eye test in February then again the beginning of this month and no alterations thankfully in sight 👍
I have not heard of or been offered Leflunomide but the following link may be of interest .....
Take care @Naomi33
