Hi everyone, I’m new!
Hello, my name is Anita, I’m 69 and like you all, I to have arthritis. Just lately my hands have been really aching and my thumb joints are so painful. I’ve used Zoltarol and Ibuprofen gel on which is on prescription. Neither of these help much. I was wondering if anyone else with the same problems have tried something that does actually work for them? I’d be grateful for any advice which may help to relieve the ache! 👍

Hello @anitaerika and welcome to the Community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well.
I understand that you have arthritis in your hands and looking for other treatments. Have you tried Capsaicin cream? Available on prescription.
It helps me (I have osteoarthritis in my thumbs) and I take Co-codamol which also helps. There are also some exercises which are useful
Please keep posting and let us know how you are getting on.
With best wishes
