New member
Hello, my name is MaryClaire , I'm a new member with hip arthritis and feeling very low and emotional. Hip injection has not worked and I can't take NSAIDs due to other health problems. Constant pain and increasing immobility are getting me down. I'm waiting for a phone call from the hospital, but they don't call, and I haven't been given any advice about exercises. I feel useless and a burden to my husband. I don't know what to do any more.

Hello @MaryClaire
I am very pleased you have found our online community. We are a friendly and supportive group and will offer help and support to each other - it's always good to know you are not alone.
I understand that you have osteoarthritis, and apart from an injection which didn't work, you have had little help from your doctor; consequently constant pain and immobility are really getting you down. Rest and gentle exercise are the best way to manage your pain.
I am posting a couple of links from our website below. I hope they will give you a starting point on finding out more information:
I am sure you will soon get some help from members on here, and do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes
Caryl
