Hi I’m Steve. I have Rheumatoid arthritis. I had pain for awhile and chased my doctor to get it sorted. Before my Rheumatology appointment I kept a dairy of my symptoms etc. i had a blood test and nothing showed. Then I had a scan and I was called back 2 days later and started on methotrexate. This was March 2019. I then sort of ignored it for a bit. But in the August I had a massive flare and was off work for 3 months. During that time I did a pain management course, learned to pace myself, look after myself better and talked to my bosses in work(who were supportive).
i have had input off physio and a OT. Which has helped

Hi Steve @StevieB
Nice to meet you Sounds as though you have taken a very practical attitude towards your RA. After an initial period of denial/ignoring it (I think a lot of us do that) I am pleased you are doing well.
Where did you do your pain management course? I did one too it was one of the old Arthritis Care ones.
Good that your work have been supportive and long may the MTX keep your symptoms under control.
