So nice to find this group. I have been living in isolation as my pain has become nearly crippling while waiting for a hip replacement. It has been nearly 18 months but the last three months have left me unable to do more than the bare minimum. This happened right after I moved to Hawaii and I have no friends or family here. It would be nice to meet others also looking for support and friendship who understand this disease. Thank you.

Will you be having your surgery over there or coming to the UK for it? If there I think we'd be very interested to hear how it goes. Either way people here will support you
Have you read this thread started by @RogerBill ? Loads of other hippies have joined in so it's really informative for anyone facing a THR.
