Hi just new to the group.

Newly diagnosed with osteoarthritis and struggling with the pain especially in my hands and my right knee and right hip. Pain killers not always effective. Any other suggestions which may help

Hi @Rocky02

nice to meet you.

I have a few things i keep up my sleeve for bad pain days. I don't know if any will help you.

1) my trusty microwavable wheatbag

2) an icepack

3) my tens machine

4) msn gel to rub in the joint (aloe)

and lots of people here recommend capsaicin (prescription only) although it has been in short supply lately.
