I'm a newbie needing advice please!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and wondered if I could ask for some advice please ...

My husband has been taking Methotrexate (20mg per week) for about 8 years and we would really like to try for another child. I have read so much conflicting information online about how long he should come off methotrexate for before trying to conceive, and I wondered if anyone else has any information or been through the same thing or if there are alternative medications available that would be safe? Trying to get even a telephone call with his consultant is near impossible and his GP hasn't been much help so any advice would be greatly appreciated please 🙏

I understand your husband has been taking Methotrexate for 8 years and you would like to try for another child but are not sure how long he should stop taking the Methotrexate for before trying to conceive.
