Methotrexate and Hydroxychloroquine

Have been on Hydroxychloroquine few weeks they have added Methotrexate I forgot to ask nurse if I take both together at the same time on Methotrexate day as I take two doses am pm of Hydroxychloroquine. Also she said can take ppi as on 15mg Methotrexate thought this wasnt allowed asked lots of questions but never enough time.

I'm not a member of the helpline team, just an ordinary forum membeŕ but I've been taking meth and hydroxy together for years. And given them together when in hospital.

I also take a PPI but I thoughr they had to be taken on an empty stomach so I have mine at my bedside with water. I take them first thing and, I'm so slow, by the time I'm showered, dressed and have prepared my breakfast, I reckon it's OK to take them with my breakfast.

Thanks yes ppi empty stomach can I take the Meth and hydroxy together with evening meal? Or leave a gap between them. I like the term Meth as can't say the full names of them I leave medics finish my sentence ha.

These questions are best put to your Rheumatology Nurse Specialist. You should be able to leave them a voicemail and one of them should call you back.
