My name is Liz and my battle with “early onset rheumatoid arthritis “ started 2days after my first Covid booster over two years or so now. I’m not following any usual behaviour traits and am not ticking the right boxes. I’m on my third set of medication for arthritis and am not sure where they are going next. I’m currently taking hydroxychloroquine but a very small dose increasing the dose i suspect month by month. I’m on the second month and see my consultant in 3 weeks to see where I go. I’m riddled with pain, have very limited mobility and have been advised by my Dr to trust the Consultant and he prescribed me stronger painkillers 😳 This is me !

You describe your life for the last two years as a battle with early onset RA. You are on your third set of medication and are in a lot of pain with limited mobility. We are glad you found us and hope that the friendship and support we offer alongside information and members own experiences will help you feel that you are not alone in this battle anymore. So many say their lives are a struggle and a battle, often because they are in a lot of pain and their condition has constrained their mobility and lifestyle.
