I've just been given a date for a hip replacement operation in 4 weeks so decided it was about time I started to get a little more involved in the community

Operation is a miracle! After two years of inceasingly unbearable pain, I woke up pain free from HRS!

I had a kind of ache in hip and leg for a couple of weeks, but that's all. Now 6 weeks in I walked two miles yesterday, pain free. It's wonderful.

Thanks folks, it's great to hear positive results. I'm lucky in that a few people at work have had the op so have been getting some encouragement from them as well
