What going on - does anyone else have red waxy skin on finger joints
A year ago I had a painful neck, it was awful, to look round or to concentrate on my laptop or the tv, everything was so annoying, went to doctors who sent me for an xray, I have mild arthritis. So had exercises todo and its still annoying but not as painful. Then it was my shoulder, now low back, both hips, and last night my knee. I have another xray for my hips which I am waiting for an appointment. Is it never ending.

Morning @iminpain welcome to the online community.
I see from your post that you are struggling with pain in a fair few joints. I am presuming your Dr suspects Osteoarthritis (sometimes referred to as 'wear and tear') and wants your hips X-rayed.
I am going to attach a link to information about Osteoarthritis of the hip which you might find helpful. The section titled 'How will Osteoarthritis of the hip affect me' particularly. It mentions other parts of the body, lower back and knee where you can experience pain if you have Osteoarthritis in your hip(s).
Now that you've said hello please do take a look around the rest of the forum and join in anywhere you wish. Living with Arthritis tends to be the most popular category after Say Hello.
Best wishes
Ellen.

Hi @iminpain
Which part of your fingers is red and waxy I wonder? If i was you I'd be showing it to my Dr or pharmacist for their opinion.
Take care
