Strength and Balance Gym for Hands Osteoarthritis
Hi I had to give u Gym " Strength and Balance -because too extreme on my Body and exhaustion after minutes about 6 months ago.Gym I attend for more genteel group excercises now Movewell suggest for severe intermittent Hans pain I should use resistant bands and attend Strength and Balance Gym again.Pleaee any experiences.I read the Administrators Versus generously sent information but no suggestion of using Gym maybe for a reason ? Please any Community advice ? Thanks Galaxy A12.

Thank you for posting on our Online Community, we are pleased to hear that you have found a less strenuous type of class that is more suitable for you.
Exercise is so important for any type of arthritis, it can reduce pain, stiffness and tenderness and it also strengthens the muscles around the affected joints. Have you also been referred to see a physiotherapist or a hand therapist who have done further training in treating conditions affecting the hands wrist, arms, and shoulders. They are normally in a hospital setting and can advise on exercises, preventive treatments and they often use wax bath therapy which uses a bath of molten paraffin wax which is one of the most effective ways of applying heat to improve mobility by warming the connective tissues.

Chris thankyou I sent just now a further message to helpline as GP suggests Raynauds my diagnosis initially have low blood pressure but test today was a lot lower 82/64.I have a current diagnosed Osteoarthritis for last two years.
