Hoovers

Hi. I have rheumatoid arthritis in almost every joint but worst in my hands (I’m also 6 foot). I’m looking for a powerful hoover that is affordable, light, and most importantly easy to take the bits apart to clean and empty with weak, bent over and very painful hands (my little fingers are so bent they almost touch the back of my wrist). I fear this may be a unicorn and doesn’t exist!

A roomba isn’t powerful enough (and too expensive)

sharks catches are too fiddly and couldn’t get to the filters

Dysons are generally too fiddly too

Would really appreciate the help. Thanks

Might be a unicorn for definite @Tiggerjoh

    you're right....

Is there anyone who could help you with the cleaning out of your vacuum?

There used to be a great man near me who used to service my old dyson for me, but he retired.

Or family? Middle daughter is happy to take things apart.

    Sorry that was feeble

    Hi @Tiggerjoh

Do you have any nieces/nephews or grandchildren who are old enough to moan about never having enough money? How about offering them a small payment in return for doing your vacuuming once or twice a week? That would save you the discomfort of doing it yourself and be good for both you and the young person at the same time?
